In Iran like many other regions of the world, nomads and migrating tribes live in simple dwellings which are considered early examples of what forms today’s range of spatial structures. Nomadic tribes in different regions build these houses with their specific forms and architectural designs, so that usually from their appearance, their association can be recognized. Although currently due to industrial building methods and mass production, especially in prefabricated structures, form and geometry of this kind of structures are not usually suited to the ecological and cultural conditions of various regions, but examples can be found where art and enthusiasm of the architect in displaying the cultural symbols is evident.

This article, while emphasizing on the importance of development of current prefabricated structures suitable to regional cultural values, introduces a sample of projects built using lattice spatial structures with Iranian geometry.
